Councilman Bravo is inviting the community to walk with him at Brackenridge Park.

The Parks Department is hosting the 2017 Bond improvements tour for Brackenridge Park this Saturday Feb 12 at 2 p.m. The tour will include details on the restoration of the cultural sites as well as the proposed removal of trees along the river. There has been some controversy over the removal of some trees for these improvements. This park largely falls in our district and is one of our most important historical parks. I, for one, am excited about some of the long-needed repairs to beautiful historical features including the pump house at Brackenridge. If you are interested please come!
