Dear SHRNA Friends,
Here’s hoping everyone survived the past week without any tryptophan overdoses. While SHRNA doesn’t have any official meetings happening between now and the new year, there are a number of things coming up where we can make positive change in our neighborhood and city:
Planning Commission Technical Advisory Committee
The City of San Antonio’s Planning Commission is looking for applicants for the Technical Advisory Committee in the following areas:
- Environmental (1 Primary, 1 Alternate)
- Historic Category (1 Primary)
- Community (3 Primaries)
The application deadline is December 20, 2021.

Community Bond Committee Meetings
A few Community Bond Committee Meetings where citizens can provide perspectives remain, and it would be to all of our benefit if SHRNA residents can make their voices heard.
Drainage and Flood Management meets Wednesday, December 1
Parks, Recreation, and Open Space meets Tuesday, December 7
Facilities and Housing both meet Thursday, December 8
Location is the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and times are 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
