Welcome to the January 11th edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.
Howdy ,
The first working week of the new year.
The choice is either to go hard or build at a sustainable pace.
I chose the foundation for a year of success without burnout.
Here is hoping this is also your choice…
The Story of My Week.
This week has gone differently.
Differently because I am recovering some of the foundation for the life I have been called to live.
Yeah…These past years have been years of seclusion. Walking and working with God in the trenches.
I have been comfortable with that.
But I have a feeling that seclusion time is over.
This means I need a deeper work with God for this next season.
Why?
Because more visibility creates more opportunities for distractions. And I cannot afford distractions.
I have a responsibility to God and my generation.
In doing that, I will need to take care of my body, my family and my business.
I am also an intercessor. Committed to seeing God’s vision for my nation, my generation, the generation after and the world come alive.
2026 is going to be a great new year.
Things I Learnt
1-The Doors are Opening: It’s the first week in January, and the doors are opening already. I have gotten 2 clients for my practice already.
The interesting thing is that these were not first-time people in my world. They had been consuming a lot of the content I have been putting out.
I guess things clicked for them now to come into a deeper work with me.
The important thing is that I was showing up consistently to give value. What I had been doing spoke for me when they needed to move to the next level.
I became the resource they needed for that next level of edge.
It’s a reminder for me to never stop showing up.
Showing up means I am making myself ready for the doors when they open.
2026…I will continue showing up and walking through those open doors.
2-More Power Than Ever: This is one year that I know from the blast of the whistle, I am going to need more spiritual power than I have ever needed.
Towards the end of 2025, I caught insight that 2026 will be a year of accelerated progress and high visibility, with more opportunities to serve people, especially my family, in deeper and unique ways. But I intend to do it without burning out.
The foundation for that is a deeper spiritual core. This is why I had planned to take next week off as a personal spiritual and strategic retreat.
Why did I choose the 2nd week in January?
Well, I am committed to the family for the holidays. I want my family to know I am fully with them during that time.
Now the kids are back in school, and work is still at a slower rhythm, so I can lock myself into a short zone time to increase my edge for the new year.
I am going to operate in the supernatural, guided by deep wisdom from God.
I am going to deliver God-powered results.
Practice for the Week
Reflect: Where do I need more than the usual skills that I have to deliver results in 2026?
Pray: Lord, help me to keep my eyes on the grace and power you give when I become overwhelmed.
Act: Pick a 20-minute window of time to rededicate your 2026 plans to God.
Postscript
May your eyes see clearly how God wants to work in you and through you in the new year. Amen
