Who has the Worse of the Bad Situations?

Howdy ,

I happen in on a conversation between two people.

It was a funny back-and-forth exchange from my perspective.

They were living in different countries and each was arguing for why her own country’s economic situation was worse than the order.

The conversation was a bit underwhelming in my view.

It shows something common to every human.

The human drive to compete.

Some may say they are not competitive. I think not.

It’s just that we compete for different things.

In the case of the two people I just told their story.

They were competing with each other.

The person with the worse situation gets the sympathy or pity of the other.

That’s the endgame I could see they were aiming for.

Even if they didn’t know.

Anyway, that’s not something I’d like to compete for.

So, what are you competing for today?

Who are you competing with?

You can compete with yourself to bring a bigger A-Game to work today than you brought yesterday.

You will compete.

The question is who will you compete with and what will you compete for?

As always.
