Welcome to the June 22nd edition of Faith & Life Lessons.
You will see this email full of tidbits from my week. My goal is simple. I hope that from how I live my life, you can find a thing or two that helps you as you try to live a life that matters. I am always trying to do one thing - make Christ-focused decisions in love, work, and life. And this was my week.

The Story of My Week.
The body is always a reminder.
A reminder that no matter how big my dreams are or how huge my goals are, I have limitations.
Limitations that I can’t break or…they break me.
Eventually.
That doesn’t mean I will stay far away from my limits.
Nope, I stay close to my limits enough to get me closer to my goals.
Nearer to my dreams.
I’m committed to pushing myself.
Pushing my limits.
Because this makes me better.
I become better to achieve more.
Things I Learnt
1 - Peace in the New Endgame: What is the new achievement I am aiming for? Something different.
These days, I'm no longer optimizing for efficiency or even achievement. I'm optimizing for peace.
My decision filters have changed:
I - Do I feel peace when I imagine pursuing this?
II - Will this choice bring peace or just more pressure?
III - Does how I spend my time align with peace?
For every new task or objective, I am structuring it to bring more peace than just pressure.
I am not avoiding all pressure but I am working for more peace than pressure.
I'm discovering that when you optimize for peace, you don't lose effectiveness. You gain clarity.
Peace - the true measure of a life well-lived.
2 - Beware of Faith Stealers: Every situation is an opportunity, an opportunity to build my ability to succeed in the ideas that God has planted in me.
It’s also an opportunity to say no to the faith stealers.
These are the constant barrage of bad news and the loud voices on social media shouting their point of view as the only valid one.
Not for me.
I am focused on winning the game against the faith stealers. I do that every day.
Yes.
I focus on creating & living in environments where my faith in achieving my goals and dreams is supported.
Postscript
May you recognize the faith stealers and have the strength to say no to them, so you create the right environment to live out your goals. Amen
