Howdy ,
I have been the test subject for an interesting experiment for almost a decade. It’s a workplace experiment using a life environment.
Yes, there is no controlled environment - everything is life.
I would implant myself in a new office environment and irrespective of the perspective of my new co-workers, I was required to achieve the following:
1 - Deliver the kind of results that make me a high-value member of the team.
2 - Create a supportive workplace environment where my colleagues are willing to support my goals because they know I also support theirs.
3 - Serve my audience (internal & external) at work in a way they would recommend me for new opportunities internally and externally.
On a scale of 1 - 10, my results would be pushing 9.5.
How do I know?
Let’s consider my first stop - Spain. This was meant to be a 2-year gig. I ended up spending almost 5 years there.
Why?
Because I delivered.
Don’t take my word for it. The feedback from the team was “We want to keep Tola for as long as possible.” They said this to my face and to anyone else that needed to hear it.
I moved from that team to a bigger role.
I will not go into the details of that now. Maybe later.
The important thing I need you to know is that my results are not unique.
They are also not outliers.
They are repeatable…by anyone.
This is why on Saturday, October 12, 2024, I’ll be opening the vault and sharing the juice that makes these results repeatable in a 3-hour training.
