Let me share a story I heard yesterday.
A boy has been practicing with his dog ahead of the duck hunting season.
The dog had to learn to be the best retriever after he shot the duck.
Once the season opened and before the competition itself, the boy decided to take his dog out for a spin.
The ducks flew over and the boy let the gun rip.
Down fell a duck on the pond and the dog dashed to retrieve the dead duck.
Something amazing happened.
The dog did not swim across the pond to get the duck - it walked over the pond.
The boy could not believe what he saw.
The next day, he brought a neighbour along.
This time, the neighbour shot the duck and the dog walked over the pond to retrieve the duck.
The boy was bursting with pride when he turned to the neighbour and asked "did you see that? what do you think?"
The neighbour responded "well, I wasn't going to say anything. but evidently, your dog doesn't even know how to swim"
Imagine that.
The dog just walked on water and the only thing that the neighbour saw was that it didn't swim.
A bigger miracle just happened.
Don't be the one who is looking out for what is missing first.
Be the one that sees what is wonderful first.
This is what a multiplier does.
He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. Num 23:21
God doesn't look for the bad first in His people.
