I’ve always thought raccoons were cute… at least until they started chewing through plastic to devour every last bit of my bird seed.

This week it’s been all-out war between the masked bandits and my husband. So far, we’ve caught, transported, and released three of them to a new home. Three!

I have to say—watching my husband handle the whole situation made me smile. He works so hard, but he also has the softest heart. He didn’t want to take drastic measures with our little troublemakers, and that balance of strength and compassion? Definitely hero material.
