Free lifetime access to the new DWHPro Newsletter, before 1 July 2026

A short update for you.
After many years of running the DWHPro newsletter, I am moving it to a new home at letters.dwhpro.com. Better delivery, a real archive, cleaner reading on phones, and more of my time spent writing rather than wrestling with the platform.
For two decades, I have been known in this field as the Teradata guy. dwhpro.com stays exactly where it is, the main Teradata reference site, every article in place. But the work has expanded well beyond Teradata, and broadening the coverage was one of the main reasons for the move.
We are in the middle of mass layoffs across IT, with AI reshaping which jobs exist and which skills stay valuable. I would rather broaden what I write about and help my audience navigate this than stay in my comfort zone.
The new newsletter continues the data engineering work (Teradata, Snowflake, Databricks, warehouse architecture) and goes deeper on what I am watching happen to projects, roles, and billing rates: how the job market is actually changing, where I think things are heading over the next few years, and how both newcomers trying to break in and seniors trying not to get squeezed out can move in the right direction.
Twenty years of watching this industry restructure itself does not give me certainty about how this plays out, but I would rather think it through openly with people who are also doing the work than pretend the shift is not happening.
One long-form issue per week, every week. Written to be read with a coffee, not skimmed on the move.
I want to be straightforward about the business side. From 1 July 2026, the newsletter moves to a paid tier at €49 per year for the weekly issue and the working examples that take real time to produce. The price is deliberately on the low end for this kind of writing, because the audience I care about is in a stretched period of their working life, and the price should not get in the way. A few pieces will remain free.
To thank everyone who has been reading my work for years:
Anyone who subscribes at letters.dwhpro.com before 1 July 2026 gets free lifetime access to everything I publish there, including anything that later moves behind the paywall.
No fine print, no asterisk, no founding member tier that quietly expires after a year. Free, for as long as I keep writing.
After 1 July 2026, the same access costs €49 a year. If the new newsletter is something you would read, the cheaper decision is the earlier one.
If not, no obligation. I will send one or two more reminders from this list over the next few weeks for anyone who missed the first one, and then this list will sign off quietly.
Thank you for the years of reading. It is the reason any of this exists.
