#394 – Who are you without your Ego (and the Ghosts)?

You. Your true nature. Spontaneous, powerful, honest.

Your Ego is you trapped in the past. And it wants you there, forever stuck.

Your Ego has cameras pointing at all the potential exits out of your little box of safety. Whenever it sees your toes in a shy attempt to venture out, it sends the Ghosts to stop you. Sometimes it comes down itself.

Your Ego watches your every move. If it believes you're not conforming to its very strict albeit volatile and random standards, it blows the whistle.

Shining too much to its liking? Stop!

Too unafraid of the unknown? Stop!

Emboldened much to dismiss other people's opinions of you? Stop!

When your Ego and the Ghosts take the day off? You become free to wander about. Untethered. You soar, you shine, you swell with energy.

You tell the truth. You do what you really want to do (and say 'no' accordingly). You stop caring about things that don't matter. You spend your money how you want––not how you're "supposed" to.
