1. Conviction Beats Skill (Brutal But True)

One line from Saad stuck with me:

“Skill means nothing, it is all conviction.”

You can have:

  • Perfect English
  • Polished script
  • Beautiful slides

…but if deep down you don’t believe:

  • Your service is worth the price
  • Your offer genuinely helps
  • You’re the right person to deliver it

Your voice, your tonality, your energy will leak that doubt.

Freelancers and agency owners get hit the hardest here.

So many people are selling services they don’t fully believe in just because they need clients.

If you don’t believe in what you’re selling, your prospects will never believe it either.


2. The 240-Minute Talk Time Rule

This one slapped.

Saad shared the rule from David Choy (multi-million dollar NYC real estate closer):

"240 minutes of talk time per day. Not dials. Talk time."

That means:

  • Sales calls
  • Discovery calls
  • Cold calls
  • Real conversations

If you’re not hitting 240 minutes a day and you say you want more clients, more revenue, more leads…

You don’t have a “strategy” problem.

You have a talk time problem.

Look at your last week:

  • How many minutes did you actually spend talking to prospects?
  • Not tweaking your website, not changing your font, not rewriting your bio. Talking.

If that number is low, nothing else you optimize will matter.


3. Hard Qualify on Price (Before the Call)

This one is going to trigger a lot of people.

Saad’s team discloses pricing before the sales call. The line is basically:

“Our price is this. If you can’t afford it, don’t get on a call.”

Savage. But smart.

What happens when you do this:

  • You filter out price shoppers
  • You stop wasting time on “let me think about it”
  • People who show up are already half-sold

Most people are terrified of this because they’re scared of losing leads.

But what you actually lose is time-wasters.

What you gain is:

  • Higher close rates
  • Shorter sales cycles

4. Track Your Close Rate Like Your Life Depends On It

If you don’t know your close rate, you’re flying blind.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

  • Below 20–25%: Something is fundamentally broken in your sales process
  • 30–40%: You’re in a good pocket
  • Above 40%: You're underpriced and leaving money on the table

Most people guess. Saad tracks.

Start tracking:

  • Calls booked
  • Calls showed
  • Deals closed

The data will tell you if:

  • Your offer is off
  • Your targeting is weak
  • Your conviction is low
  • Your qualification is sloppy
