I interviewed someone who sends 10,000 cold emails per week
Dec 15, 2025 3:05 pm
Hey there,
I just wrapped up one of my most interesting podcast episodes yet.
My guest? Frank Sondors - the founder of Salesforge.
Now, before you think "another SaaS founder giving advice from their ivory tower" - hear me out.
Frank still takes 50+ demo calls every single week. Last week alone, he did about 50 demos. Salesforge runs 600+ demos monthly with just 6 sales reps.
But here's what blew my mind: He personally sends 10,000+ cold emails weekly.
This isn't someone who "did sales once" and now sells courses about it. He's actively executing while running a multi-million dollar company.
The recording is with my editors but will share the second it is live on YouTube
Why Frank's Advice Actually Matters
Most CEOs delegate sales after their first million. Frank? He's still in the trenches at scale.
He scaled Salesforge from $0 to $3M ARR in 12 months with zero employees until they hit $1M. Even after raising VC and building a 45-person team across 20+ nationalities, he maintains profitability while constantly testing new channels.
Whether it's sending 4,000 direct mail pieces, building 300+ n8n automation workflows, or doing 50+ podcast appearances yearly - Frank operates at a volume that forces him to find what actually works versus what sounds good in theory.
And here's the kicker: He breaks his own products. He built Salesforge (cold email software) but openly shares tactics like intentional typos and "forgot attachment" emails - strategies that technically make emails look less polished.
That's the mark of someone optimizing for results over vanity metrics.
3 Counterintuitive Tactics You Can Steal Today
1. Intentional Typos in Subject Lines
The tactic: Purposely add typos to combat the "automation" perception.
This goes against every copywriting "best practice" you've ever heard. Most experts say polish everything. Frank weaponizes imperfection to increase human perception.
Instead of: "Quick question about your lead gen"
Try: "Quick questoin about your lead gen"
It looks human. It looks like someone typed it quickly. It gets opened.

2. Send "Forgot Attachment" Emails
The tactic: Five minutes after your first email, send "Oops, forgot the attachment."
This is psychology hacking at its finest. It creates:
- ✅ Urgency (they need to check what they missed)
- ✅ Authenticity (feels like a genuine mistake)
- ✅ A second touchpoint disguised as a mistake
Ready to implement today? Here's the sequence:
Email 1: Your normal cold email with value prop
Email 2 (5 mins later): "My bad - forgot to attach [case study/deck/resource]. Here it is."
Boom. Two opens, two chances to hook them.
3. Extract Competitive Followers on LinkedIn
The tactic: Scrape your competitors' LinkedIn followers and target them directly if you have a better/faster/cheaper product.
Most people say "build your own audience." Frank says "steal your competitor's audience legally."
Think about it: If someone follows your competitor, they're already interested in that solution. If you're better/faster/cheaper, they're your perfect prospect.
Frank calls this the $10K growth experiment - and it requires tools, but the methodology is crystal clear.
This is exactly the type of tactical work we do in my coaching program - finding the shortcuts others won't tell you about.
The Frank Mindset: Volume + Experimentation = Truth
Here's what I learned from Frank that changed my perspective:
Most people test at low volume and assume it doesn't work. Frank tests at extreme volume (10K emails/week, 2K calls/week) which gives him real data, not guesses.
When you operate at that scale, you can't afford to follow generic advice. You need tactics that actually move the needle.
That's why his advice is gold - it's battle-tested at scale, often counterintuitive, and comes with specific context of why it works and when to use it.
