Hey,

It's all a bit mad my end, with Clapham now (very almost) done/launched, it's looking ahead to what is next - we have our first Hoopsfix Foundation board meeting tonight (poorly scheduled by me slap bang in the middle of the GB women game) as we outline the next phase of what we're trying to do and start executing! Exciting times.

This week's 3-pointer:

🏀 We launched Clapham Common!

On Sunday, we spent the day at Clapham, running a couple of clinics and then open play along with a couple of exhibition games with Southwark Pride and Southwark Legends to mark the opening of the new courts. With over 420 registering in the end (350ish showing up, due to all not having signed waivers), it was an incredible turn out and we were absolutely blessed by sunshine all day - again, a massive thanks to Foot Locker, Basketball England and the NBA for helping make it happen. With the seating due to get installed this month, the project will finally be complete, and we'll be looking towards next summer to make some stuff happen on it!

🇺🇸 Brits in College - Men / Women

It is that time of year again, the college season is upon us, which means our annual list of Brits in college is out! Due to COVID and players getting another year of eligibility, there are more Brits featuring on college rosters than ever before - a lot of players have opted to delay turning pro and do another year. This is the 11th year of doing the men's list, and fifth year of doing the women's list, giving us quite the dataset - we currently have someone trawling through it to pull some insights which will be released in the near future...

🇬🇧 GB Women take on Greece tonight

Make sure you tune in at 7:30pm this evening as GB face Greece in their EuroBasket qualifier - and in positive news, the BBC has picked it up - it will be live on the BBC Sport website, here, and BBC red button. On the men's side, the 24-man long-list has been revealed for their World Cup qualifier later this month.
