3-Point Thursday #372
Nov 07, 2024 4:50 pm
Hey,
Keeping myself very busy at the moment as we are working on a few very exciting projects (always looking for help by the way, so if you have time, and are up for putting in some hours for the Foundation, let me know!).
This week's 3-pointer:
πΊπΈ Brits in College - Men | Women
Finally got this one live - our annual list of British players in the US college system. Do take a look and let us know if you can fill in any of the gaps, or if we're missing anyone! Find the boys list here and the girls list here.
π Phase 1 of Brighton Beach court complete
Brighton Beach court is finally re-opened and looking great. Been a pleasure to work with Brighton & Hove City Council on this, and can't wait to get back in the Spring when its dry to put down the artwork. Follow the court on Instagram for updates.
π BBC: Why are there so few Brits in the NBA?
Interesting read from the BBC - even if it doesn't answer the specific question whatsoever! The irony that the BBC - that barely covers basketball, especially British basketball - is innocently asking the question without thinking about themselves being part of the problem, is not lost on me. Lack of media coverage is no doubt one of the contributing factors to the games struggles here.
That wraps up another drop, as always, hit reply with any thoughts, questions or anything else!
With gratitude,
Sam
