Another week down, and the end of the summer is fast approaching, hard to believe we're almost three quarters of the way through the year!

This week's quick 3-pointer:

🎨 Art basketball court in London opens

Seems like there has been a ton of these projects recently (our own one pending - with work starting week after next!) but it's great to see - the more the merrier and it always draws eyeballs from local news and 'casuals'. Shout out to Gareth Roberts from Project in the Paint who has been involved in driving a number of them!

🇬🇧 GB Women EuroBasket qualifier draw

Great Britain’s Senior Women got as good of a draw as they could have asked for to get back to the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket final round after being drawn with Greece, Portugal and Estonia - bring it on!

👟 Drew Lasker hangs 'em up

Former Newcastle Eagles guard and England international is hanging them up after 16 years in the BBL - must be up there amongst the longest tenured BBL careers (?) and he's not done with the league just yet - his involvement with the Eagles will continue, where he will take up a Business Development Executive role, along with taking the coaching reins of Northumbria University’s basketball club, and continuing his role as Head Coach of Gateshead College (and hosting the BBL show!)
