🇺🇸 Quinn Ellis declares for the NBA draft
Quinn Ellis joins Tosan Evuomwan as British entrants in the 2023 NBA draft. As an early-entrant he still has the option to withdraw before June 12, but it is great to see nevertheless and hopefully helps give his stock/general awareness a little boost. The reception has been huge in the UK, showing just how inspirational moves like this can be for the next generation. Fingers crossed for him!
🏆 Senior NBL Finals take place in Manchester
The Senior NBL season came to an end last weekend in Manchester, as Hemel Storm punctuating an incredible season with a perfect sweep in D1, Solent Kestrels avenging last year's loss with victory over a young CoLA side, City of Birmingham taking another step closer to their BBL ambitions with the D2 title, Sheffield Hatters II continuing the cement the club's legendary status in WNBL 2, while Blayne Freckleton put on the most impressive individual performance to lead MK Breakers to the D3 title. Another year down...and now we do it all again this weekend for the Junior Final Fours - shout if you're going to be there!
