Taking God's Word as it stands

Hey, !
I have goals for 2024, but it may not be what most resolutions look like. My goal is to glorify and enjoy God more in 2024. That may seem like a cliche or a throw away goal, but for me it's not.
I love this quote from Charles Spurgeon, "I believe that the happiest of all Christians are those who never dare to doubt God, but take His Word simply as it stands."
When life throws it's nasty blows, I want to stand on His promises and remind myself that His word is true and never returns void.
I will be setting a goal to also get into God's Word more. I just downloaded an amazing freebie from Tauna at Proverbial Homemaker called Praying the Psalms Trust & Confidence.
