Hey, !

As we celebrate Christmas tomorrow, I wanted to drop in your inbox for a quick second for a bit of encouragement.

Yesterday, I had to go out into town in the rush of shoppers because I forgot an important part of our Christmas tradition for the kids. If you follow me on Instagram, I talked about this adventure in my stories (in the "Family" highlights). On my way home, my heart was checked by the Holy Spirit and I was reminded that Christmas is not about things or the hustle and bustle. It would have been perfectly fine had I not went out to grab what I forgot. Christmas is still Christmas.

It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day tasks of getting everything together that we quickly forget the focus of what Christmas is all about. So friend, as the day goes on today and tomorrow comes, I encourage you to rest in God's plans. What gets done gets done and what doesn't, just doesn't. Resting in that means that both your mind and body will be at ease.

With that said, Merry Christmas! I pray that your day be blessed.
