Just a quick EXTRA update on things to do in LA this weekend. On Friday we're screening one of the rarest film ever, the classic 1963 sci-fi/horror post apocalyptical masterpiece THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS at our SOHO CINEMA CLUB. See an amazing super widescreen scope print and experience some fabulous magic during the intermission. It's the film's first theatrical screening in Los Angeles in 15 years! We're so excited about this one and hope you'll join us!

THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS - this Friday!
Looking for a fun evening out with a difference? Well join us for a rare super widescreen, anamorphic print of the British sci-fi/horror classic THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS (1962). It’s the first Los Angeles theatrical screening of this classic "giant man-eating plants in a post apocalyptic 1960s London” feature film in over 15 years!
With full support program of classic 1960s/70s shorts, commercials and trailers. Plus we have 'live' magic and illusions in the intermission from THE INTERMISSION MAGICIAN! He's good!

BIGFOOT LODGE MEETUP - PHOTOS
Our indie horror-film fans and filmmakers meetup last week at the BIGFOOT LODGE in Atwater Village in Los Angeles was a lot of fun. As usual we had a raffle, giving away some great Blu-rays and DVDs from our sponsors and good friends Erik and Maria of LEOMARK STUDIOS. They have a great new Horror Anthology film, TREASURES OF TERROR VOL. 2 out shortly.

WORST MOVIE EVER MADE!?
It's been a crazy month, putting together the SOHO CINEMA our MONTHLY MEETUP and getting ready for both HOLLYWOOD HORRORFEST and BOOBS & BLOOD FILM FESTIVALS. But we still had time to release our 3rd SOHO PODCAST, a look at possibly one of the worst films ever made. Of course, we do it so you don't. So is it really so bad it's not worth watching, or is it a hidden classic? You'll just have to listen to find out...
