When legitimate "persecution" is not persecution for your faith

Hello
I've been studying the Word of God for my next book, Untwisting Scriptures #5, "Suffering, Death (to Self), and Life," which I hope will come this year.
Every once in a while I come across something surprising. And that's when I know it's time to share it with you.
This blog article may eventually become a chapter of the book. But of course you, as a subscriber, get to see it first (and help me make it better, if you choose to comment or write to me about it).
The title I used was "Here’s Why 'Persecution' in the New Testament Is a Bigger Word Than You Thought.
But I wanted to call it, "Here's Why I'm Almost Positive that the Word 'Persecution' in the New Testament Includes Sexual Assault (and it's not directly for your faith)."
I couldn't be 100% positive about the sexual assault, so I decided not to use that title. But I'm at about 99% right now.
If you'd like to go down a rabbit hole with me, I'd like to show you something interesting . . .
From the Scriptures, of course. As I always seek to do.
Today is Friday, which my husband and I now call Phoebe Friday, because our two-year-old granddaughter comes to spend the day with us. I'm looking forward to fun times, as always.
I can't help but keep thinking that Phoebe is about the same age as Isaac was when Ishmael . . .
But I'll let you read the article.
All my best,
