Here we are in the last week of October already!? This week we are really enjoying peak Fall colors around us, it has been truly stunning! We've had unusually warm weather, but we are in for a huge change next week with lows projected to dip into the 20's!

Last week, I shared a picture of our Aromatic Aster in our Facebook group. And, I wanted to make sure to share it here. In my mind, I kind of consider it a native alternative to mums.

If this one has not been on your radar, you may want to consider planting it in the areas you like to enjoy the Fall color mums bring to your gardens. Not only does it bring the beautiful color we like to enjoy this time of year in our gardens, but it is beneficial to pollinators as a late season nectar source and is frost tolerant.
