NEW ON BLOG: Short's Aster...a very showy late bloomer & nectar source
Oct 29, 2022 1:01 pm
Greetings,
We've been highlighting some late season bloomers over the past few weeks and today we have a new native plant profile on the blog for you on a beautiful late season bloomer.
Short's Aster tends to bloom from September into October with a very showy display and a great late season nectar source for pollinators. It does have a tendency to flop due to the weight of the flowers. Using the Chelsea Chop is a method to help reduce this issue.
Enjoy learning all about Short's Aster, including how to grow and care for it.
