Greetings,
Happy Saturday! And here we are...somehow it is July already! Today, we are really excited to share a new resource for you on a very important native tree.
If you’re looking to make a positive impact on the ecosystem, there is no other native plant that does more for nature than an Oak tree.
This single tree species feeds more wildlife in North America than just about any other species. This fact alone would be an argument for it being nearly the single most important tree species on the continent. But when we factor in the value of the lumber and firewood, it is almost assured that this is the single most important species in North America.
Enjoy learning more about this very important tree!
