Greetings!
Happy March! We hope your weekend is off to a good start. If you have followed our Winter Gardening Chores hopefully you have made some new birdhouses for this season.
And, if you already have some birdhouses on your property, today we want to show you how to go about cleaning them and prepping them to be used again this season.

If you are looking to be inspired, you will want to check out Bill Haley's post in our Facebook group. Bill does some amazing work to help hold a fundraiser for his church in Tennessee. He works all year to prepare for this sale. He pots and divides plants. Although the sale is not exclusive to natives, he has been working the last few years to add more and more native options to the sale. If you have not seen Bill's posts, you can search his name in the group to find them. We thank Bill for sharing his efforts with this sale, for it will surely inspire others to find ways they can spread their love of native plants! Enjoy following along with Bill's work in the group.
The sale is the 13th annual Plant Give-Away at Daisy United Methodist, 9508 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. This will take place on Saturday, April 8, beginning at 8am.
