Greetings ,
Welcome to the Gregeration X Newsletter for July 24, 2021. If you've recently joined my newsletter I'm glad you joined us. For those of you who've been around awhile, thanks for sticking with me and I hope you are doing well!
In August I'll be releasing Unexpected Contact, this is a follow up novella to Duel of Destiny, which I think most of you downloaded as a part of signing up for this newsletter. If you haven't read it yet, you can get Duel of Destiny for free by clicking here or you can buy the e-book version from Amazon for $0.99.
As I mentioned in a previous newsletter, Sigrid features on the cover of Unexpected Contact. Here are some thoughts on Sigrid:
Sigrid. Yes, she has a last name, but if she told you, she’d have to... well, you know the rest. Those in the right circles know she’s a renowned mercenary who has her own set of rules, but above all, gets the job done. We first meet Sigrid working with Chruckariat Metatarsarian in Pax Machina, but she has a much bigger role to play in the Mechhaven Universe, as you’ll find out in Mechs and Machinations. In Unexpected Contact, I wanted to explore Sigrid a little earlier in her career. Teaming her up with Tala and TH3R in their continuing adventures seemed like a perfect match. I can’t wait to share Unexpected Contact with you very soon!
Remember if you want a chance to read an Advanced Copy of Unexpected Contact (in exchange for an honest review), please sign up here.
There'll be more about Unexpected Contact in the next newsletter coming on August 7th.
Mechhaven Missives
- After a little bit of a slow week last week due to allergies, possible food poisoning, and generally feeling like garbage, edits on Mechs and Machinations are progressing nicely again.
- I have noted a handful of scenes I need to go back and expand on. Some of these will tie into books three and four, so are kind of important.
- Speaking of Book Three, I'll begin writing it in September and work on it through autumn. Historically, autumn has been one of my favorite times of year to write. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to happen in Book Three, but I'll start plotting Book Three in detail in August. I have some movies I want to watch, albums I want to listen to, and books I want to read in preparation. There's definite vibe I'm going for.
