We Moved!

I hope the summer is off to a great start for you all with lovely weather and fun.

• After 14 years in our last country, we moved to the Middle East and we are safe in the light of the current conflict. Please pray for us to find a suitable home for our family.
• Pray for our kids to adjust and find new friends, particularly our middle child seems to be struggling the most.
• The conflict doesn't impact us in our day-to-day but it impacts our travel out of the region to a conference next month. Please pray we will be able to depart and return without any trouble.
• Pray for all countries involved in the current conflict.
• Pray for all the Deaf followers of LJC in the country we just left that they would meet together in unity, humilty, and love. Ask the Father to send harvesters to the Deaf there who still do not know the Good News.

We have moved to a new country just a few days ago. It was a pretty hectic time leading up to the move and I apologize for not notifying you all ahead of time. We finished out the school year with all the activities like a middle school play, art show, a fun festival, and goodbye parties amid all the preparations for the move. We were blessed to have our household packed and shipped for us and friends who opened their home to us while our householf was being dismantled into boxes. The kids were sad to leave after 14 years and our middle one is particularly struggling.

We moved to a Middle Eastern country that is in between two countries engaged in a recent conflict you probably are aware of. The country itself is neutral and safe so we are safe. I know some of our partners are aware that we moved to the Middle East and have asked for an update in the light of the current conflict. The only thing we need to do here is to shelter when the alert system sets off a siren because any intercepted missiles in the air may rain down debris. Otherwise, life has been going on as normal, businesses are open as usual, and people are enjoying themselves eating and drinking in cafes.

We are searching for a home suitable for our family. We've not had to do this in quite a while, and the realty landscape here works a little different. Language barriers present a real issue, but we do find ways of communicating. Please pray that the Lord would lead us to the place that best suits our family and the needs of our outreach.
