Never want you to know this.

You cannot connect with your audience

Until you see them,

In your mind’s eye.

Everyday, as I set to write to you a love note,

I picture what you are wearing,

How enthusiastic you are,

When you see my mail notification.

How you read every line,

Without hesitation,

Hungrily devouring the wisdom,

That my words produce.

I think about your smile,

When I paint a picture

Of the kind of life you want,

And you say in your mind,

How come this girl gets me this much?

And then,

I craft words

That will do justice,

To you at that particular state.

And you get to fall in love with me

Through my words.

And today,

I pictured you waiting for the attached list,

I would share,

Things I wished I got as a birthday gift.

Some I can afford,

Others, not yet.

But its just nice

Knowing that someone somewhere,

Would look out for me this much,

And before 9th of February,

Would cross off one thing off my list.

I’m shooting my shot,

And trying to see,

If that one special person,

Would be you.

P.s: Tomorrow’s mail would come at 12pm. Because of how peculiar Sundays can be.
