I never thought I would be writing this to you.

I didn't know this say would come,

When I would have to say this.

What I am about to tell you…

Lol.

You know I am not being completely honest.

You didn't know?

I am sorry. Would never toy with your feelings again.

That's a lie! White lie actually.

(runs away)

Of course, I have thought hard about what I want to say.

Maybe not now, but definitely I have.

Maybe not in this form, but I assure you,

It is well intended.

But when I started with those words,

You were willing to listen,

To something I am doing, I didn’t think I would.

You just wanted to know why I would be breaking my rules.

I learned this from a very fine copywriter,

Andy Mukolo who said;

Your first line in an ad,

Is an ad in itself.

It determines if people would go further

With your ad copy or otherwise.

This isn’t me asking you to bring up lies

Because you want to sell;

Juts learn to tweak your truth in a way

That it keeps arousing interest.

Until something is aroused,

No action would be taken.

With this knowledge,

You get an assignment.

If you wanted to get the attention

Of a well known, influential

And successful man,

What would your first line be?

Assignments ain’t rhetorical…

They need real answers *chuckles*
