YOU DON'T NEED THESE CLIENTS

I have been putting off writing this on my IG Stories

But maybe I will now after this.

It all started when I had to return to law school

some time ago;

I knew I wouldn’t have the luxury to do as many things as usual

And this means cutting down gladly on clients I didn’t enjoy working with.

The trick about law school and maybe all other aspects of life

Was that you would do well if you were happy.

Simple.

You would retain more and assimilate better when you don’t feel negative pressure

So I had to place priority on my clients list.

I divided them into 3:

-         High paying clients with the least stress

-         Low paying clients with the most stress

-         Contracts

I retained just 1 high paying client so I would concentrate on other things.

I delegated and outsourced all low paying clients.

I carefully selected my contracts, based on how time consuming, rewarding and otherwise they were.

This made me have reasonable money, but more time.

It also helped me stay productive.

And it is pretty much the same thing I am doing for my 9-5.

There is something this exercise taught me.

You do not need every kind of client.

You need certain kinds at different levels.

The ones who would be the first to act out their faith in you

The ones who just want to use you.

The ones you will learn a lot working with.

The ones who would stay the longest.

All with different significance.

Right now, my only client just paid me 7 months in advance

Till the end of the year.

He has decided to be the one who will never leave.

Would you want to know how to get one?

Happy Sallah Celebration.
