So PAINFUL but TRUE!

I couldn’t move past it.
Especially since it happened recently.
And you see,
I hated to still admit it,
But it seems more glaring to me
That it always will remain true.
No one would believe you
Until you show them they have to.
Like, how on earth would you profess
To have a solution that they need
And not show off about it?
Let me be very honest with you.
Starting out in whatever niche you decide to
Is a very hard thing to do.
And it doesn’t get easier.
You join the myriads of people
Who are seeking ways to rise to the top
Of that particular niche.
There are people who wouldn’t look at you twice
If you fail to impress in 5 seconds.
There are others who won’t be moved
Until they see big names,
Or see you are associated with a big name.
It is freaking hard.
Like, you know you got this.
You have the skills, experience and knowledge,
But there are little or no testimonies to prove
Or you are still climbing the rack,
And haven’t gotten that big break
How do you create space for yourself in the market?
People who know how powerful perception is in sales,
Are most times pressured to create one in people.
People must know that you are currently making money
They must know that what you say and do actually works
They must know why you are the custodian of this solution
Bla bla bla
That is why you see the falsified numbers
And testimonies.
I used to be so overwhelmed with pressure,
Until I found this hack from my mentor.
As you read this, say a word of prayer for him.
There is a concept called a “leading learner”
People want leaders.
They want inspiration of a better life and hope.
They want to know someone who has been there,
To give them hope that someone else can get there.
However,
There is nothing more celebrated than progress.
We think our audience wants perfection.
But all they desire is consistent progress,
And that is one thing you must assure them
Until you hit it BIG!
When you have no success stories,
No testimonies, no referrals,
No name, and almost nothing…
There are 2 things you must never forget you have
1. The ability to be consistent
2. The ability to lead by consistency
Become your first specimen.
Start by taking steps in line with your knowledge.
Make people know where you used to be.
Show them where you are now.
Show them the steps you took to get there.
Then show them your reference.
Let them know where you are headed.
And enjoin them to watch you get there.
Transformation is one of the most powerful conversion tool
And it doesn’t always have to be about someone else.
It fit be you.
Until you are sold on your product/service
No one else would be.
