I am writing this mail

With two clothes on.

Maybe even three.

Because as you know,

The rains won’t stop falling in Lagos once they begin.

And you see,

I love the cold,

But crazy how I still have to prepare

And protect myself from something I love

This was the same analogy

I gave to Adrian (not his real name)

Who told me he had fallen for me

After hearing me speak at an event.

But don’t take my word for it,

Here’s how he put it:

I love how you teach.

You make everything seem so simple.

But the transformation I want to have

Can only be gotten when I have

A deeper connect with you.

I know you know what I mean.

Ok!! #chuckles

Bruh! I do know what you mean.

The fact that you feel a certain way

Doesn't mean you indulge or accommodate it.

And to ensure no more surprises like this spring up,

I always ask participants

From my events or classes

To send reviews

Where every other person can see them,

And last weekend was amazing.
