I am a SCAM!
Feb 10, 2021 2:01 pm
That is what he wrote to me,
Two days ago.
After reading my mail to you,
In which I promised to take your money.
And of course, I did.
I really wonder what he will think,
When he finds out how many people
I successfully "scammed" (lol).
Just because I made an offer to you.
Maybe years before now,
I would have been downcast
By that mail…
But now,
I feel so sad. But definitely not for myself.
You see,
The hardest people to help
Are those who think they do not need help.
Actually, they do not.
And until they come to the point of admission
By themselves,
Nothing you would ever say to them will make sense.
And most times,
It isn't even their fault.
Just a mindset limitation.
So in your journey,
You will meet people like these.
Who you will try to convince,
To seek help for a glaring problem.
It is a pure waste of time.
They would not yield to you.
It can also be so emotionally draining,
And I am telling you this,
So you don’t have to do same thing
I used to.
Only sell to a ready market.
You can have conversations with people.
You can periodically create content
To cold audiences and warm them up,
But for that pitch,
Go where you are needed.
Imagine how you would feel,
When someone actually appreciates your value,
And pay you an inkling of what you are worth…
That feeling…almost indescribable.
I saw a tweet,
About a $500 client making you promise you would give him,
Heaven and earth,
Before he commits his resources.
But you will see a $5000 client,
Who just sends the money
And makes no noise,
Trusting you to do your job.
That is not the topic for today,
But you get the drift yeah?
When you invest in yourself,
So much,
And you are assured of how much
Of a blessing you really are,
You might even start to feel sorry,
For those who don’t recognize you yet.
It is not pride.
Because you also recognize and reward
Other people’s unique gifts,
But never to your detriment.
I am not sure I can draw conclusions
From today’s notes;
Just try to get the messages within.
I will write again tomorrow;
