HARD TRUTH

I know you will likely deny this,

And that is fine.


But please I want you to be honest with yourself

Cause it is always a win win situation when you are.

So, please hear me out before you judge me.

How many times have you tried to sell to your audience,

Or maybe even just inform them

Of a product or service you offer,

And it went all wrong.


First, they didn’t bother to listen to you.

Then you managed to get their attention,

And they didn’t trust you enough

To commit their resources…


Well, this happened to me just last week,

And even after closing numerous deals,

And being quite knowledgeable about the subject,

I am reminded always that,

No two audiences will be the same.


Even if you sell the same product.


Your audience is beyond numbers.

There are people,

Faced with unique challenges,

At different places, and phases of their lives

So you would need to meet them

At very unique points in their lives

In order to convert.


When an audience is seemingly unresponsive,

This doesn’t question your worth,

Or intelligence and hardwork.

It is simply a question of strategy.

And you will realize that once you tweak the strategy,

You will get massive results.


The problem was never with you.

Just your implementation process.


So return to something you have tried that didn’t work.

Don’t get too emotional about it.

Try looking more critically,

And finding loopholes you overlooked.


I am taking my own advice,

And doing same for my recent event.
