HE WAS MARRIED!

Feb 13, 2021 2:01 pm

He was married.

I am 24 and still a new newbie at this.

And he looked 45.

Maybe even more.

I knew he was married,

No matter how he tried to hide the ring

At his side pocket.

They say married men have a particular scent.

Let’s just say I can smell it,

From miles away.

I knew it would never work

In fact, in my wildest dreams,

I never would have thought

I would give 2 cents about a thing like this.

But you see,

You have no control,

Over every part of your life.

No matter how hard you try.

Some people would always go astray

And it is never your fault.

That is how I know,

That not every of my words will align.

It is not every time I think beautiful thoughts.

Or form beautiful words.

It is not every time I sit down,

On my bunk,

With my laptop, on my bed,

And these mails come easily to me.

Sometimes, the words are majorly disjointed

And even when I sip all my creative juice,

And watch all the nicest movies,

It might not still form the perfect piece.

You don’t always have control

Over how inspiration comes.

You have more control over how you manage it

When it comes.

Proactive people ain’t the ones

Who preplan all of their activities.

They are people who apart from planning,

Know how to manage worst case scenarios.

Proactive creators know that

In times when all their content

Amount to,

Are highly unintelligible words,

They appreciate that imperfect moment

And form the best stories out of them.

Just like me,

They will tell you about the married man,

Who shouldn’t be in the map of their lives,

But found his way into their stories.

Terrorizing a 24 year old.

You learn how to act

In spite of what life throws at you.

You understand your writing crises

And find a way to show up

Even when you have no story

To tell.

That in itself, is your story.

So to become an award winning creator,

You need two things:

1.      Put an eye out for my book “The Creative and His Money”

2.      Decide never to waste your moment of content crises.

They are ingredients for award winning stories.

Start by creating content,

About any and everything

That comes to your mind.

Because surely, one day,

I will read

From you.
