People can be really funny.

They learn a new skill

Or probably acquire knowledge

About a phenomenon,

And then,

They come across one of my mails,

Or maybe a post on social media

That motivates them to go for the life

Of their dreams.

Usually those kinds of posts

Begin with a picture of what their lives could be

And tells a story of how their journey can be crafted

And who they can be

If they follow a particular route

And because we have been so wired

To think in pictures

And enjoy motivation

We suddenly think we can take over the world

By reading one of those well crafted pieces.

Unfortunately,

Emotions are quite fleeting

And you might not be able to

Fully comprehend what you have just read.

You need to understand

That the only reason

Why you can relate with what I have just written

Is because you were able

To fully capture all of the events

In your mind

Through my words.

It was beyond a statement.

You saw a narration of events.

I added the scenes and acts

Making your mind travel far

And letting it stretch beyond normal

Until you saw what I wrote.

Until your target audience

And prospects

Can picture your words

In their minds,

Make them into a story

And see themselves in that story,

You might never get to sell anything

Successfully.

Your role is to move beyond words

And use storytelling as a tool

To pass across your message

And above all,

Make them see themselves

In your story.

Remember, you are the writer.

You can wield the sword

Whatever direction you choose.
