Earlier this year, I took on a new challenge: teaching technology classes in higher education. It was something I never thought I’d do, but the opportunity to teach students in a college setting always intrigued me.

I taught my first class back in April for a Certified Medical Assistant program

Many of these students were looking to start fresh—some transitioning into a second career, others beginning their professional lives. Last week, I had the privilege of attending their program completion ceremony, and it was truly inspiring. I'm really proud of all of the work they've done in these last few months and I was really honored to be a small part of it as their technology professor.

Watching them receive their certification and awards, ready to make a difference in their communities, reminded me of something important:

The work we do—whether in the classroom, office, or in our businesses—has the power to transform lives.
