I wanted to shoot you a quick email about some changes Google dropped recently that might affect your online space.

Google announced a few weeks ago that they pulling the plug on Business Profiles websites by March 2024. If you've got a domain that ends in .business.site then this will affect you.

Starting in March, visitors trying to check out your site will temporarily be auto-redirected to your Google Business Profile. But starting June 10, 2024, this fix will go away and you will just get a "page not found".

Now, even if you're not caught up in this Google whirlwind I won't you still listen up...

This is just another platform making a change that highlights the importance of having your own website (one that you own and that doesn't end in some site.site.com name).

Recently I've seen so many people getting hit with platforms changing, going away, and deleting business owners' and creators' pages.

• a 7-figure coach losing her FB page for months
• a TikTok super creators' shop account was randomly suspended after
• a Mastermind friend of mine lost her 20K IG account
• the worst scenario of them all Viral "WTF did I marry" creator Ressa Tessa reported she only made a few dollars from her millions of views because they suspended her monetization as soon as it started

Wild, right?

And now, with Google Sites, Blogger, and the gang waving goodbye too – your website is your only true online home base.

Your site is the only piece of online real estate you completely own
