This weekend we celebrated International Women’s Day, as we celebrated was reminded of the impact visibility can transform opportunities, and when a few years ago it happened for me. One of my biggest opportunities came from an unexpected place: a single search.

A few years ago, I received an email from a writer who had discovered me through search. She had explored my content and thought I’d be a great fit for an article she was writing. At first, it seemed like a simple blog feature which was great to me.

But when the article was published, I was in for a shock—it wasn’t just a blog. It was this feature inSearch Engine Journal, one of the biggest platforms in SEO.

That moment reinforced something powerful: when people can find you in search, the right opportunities come to you.
