Welcome to May! We are so glad for our community and all who helped with our Annual Spring Clean Up. It is good to beautify our community.
Welcome to our New Members - El Borracho, Cafe 121, and Gillett Shell!
It is exciting as we have launched our new Chamber Bucks program for our Chamber Members and we hope that this will be a great asset to our member businesses and organizations.
The purpose of a Chamber is to help in the promotion of commerce in our communities. This is to help in ways to bring people to visit, work, and live within our community. As members, we desire for your involvement, but also seek ways in which we may be of help for you also.
Peshtigo National Bank is hosting a pet supply drive for the month of May. May is National Pet Month and to honor that at all Branch locations they will be collecting pet supplies - food, treats, grooming supplies, etc - that will be distributed to area pet shelters - Oconto Area Humane Society, Menominee Animal Shelter, and Langlade County Humane Society. If you would like to help, please drop off supplies at your nearest Peshtigo National Bank Branch.
The Gillett Public Library is always hosting wonderful programs and activities, and we would encourage you to check them out. They also have a food pantry and do special things to help those in need in our community. The library had a jobs book to help those looking for jobs in the area, if you are looking for employees contact the Gillett Public Library and they will add that information to the book. Check them out at www.gilpubliclibrary.org for information on all that they do!
Our Member meeting is Thursday, May 8 @ 6:00 PM it will be hosted by the Gillett Lion's Club at St. John's Lutheran Church, a.k.a. the Clock Church! Come and join us for our quarterly evening meeting!
