Hello !
This will really be quick.
Do you still remember King Nebuchadnezzar from our history subject in high school? (I do!) I do even remember the times na when referring to that king’s name in Filipino, we even stammer ‘di ba?
We knew King Nebuchadnezzar as one of the most powerful kings during his time, the greatest of all kings of Babylon! But then, when the Almighty God reminded him who gave him such power and wealth, he didn’t take heed! The king accorded his accomplishments to himself.
I reckoned from reading in Daniel that even the most heartless of kings or rulers cannot deny the power of the Almighty God.
King Nebuchadnezzar learned his lesson the hard way but when God struck Him to teach him and made Himself known to King Nebuchadnezzar, the latter recognized the one true God and blessed the most High God!
““At the end of the seven years, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked to heaven. I was given my mind back and I blessed the High God, thanking and glorifying God, who lives forever: “His sovereign rule lasts and lasts, his kingdom never declines and falls. Life on this earth doesn’t add up to much, but God’s heavenly army keeps everything going. No one can interrupt his work, no one can call his rule into question.”

Truly, the God who struck the then great king of Babylon, is the most powerful… it was part of history… it is actually His Story… then and even NOW!
