you are sought after...

Hello .

This will be a quick one but I hope you’ll have time to pause and read… I wish to share three (3) key takeaways from the preaching of Pastor Christian Flores from the 10am online service this morning in Victory Katipunan. Simple truths that may help us remember who GOD is and about His passion for all of us.

(1) God redirects our lives. – Isaiah 62:1 “For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burneth.” – If the enemy is trying to steal your joy, or if somebody told you that you’re hopeless and you do not have the capacity to change or improve yourself. THINK AGAIN! Here’s what the Bible says in Titus 2:

11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age

Titus 2:11,12 (ESV)

It is by God’s grace that true transformation happens – kung hindi mo kaya, well ako din hindi, kaya nga by God’s grace palagi – sola gratia! If we are in the Lord and if we abide in His Word, He can change us. GOD gives us the ability to obey Him, to say “NO!” to wrongdoing. The grace that saves us is the same grace that changes us.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God

Ephesians 2:8 (ESV)

(2) God redefines who we are. – The Word says in Isaiah 62, we are God’s delight and that He rejoices over us. Has someone branded you with a negative name? Has someone made you feel you were trash? Remember that the enemy is called the accuser of the brethren, right?

So DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF! Rise from the ashes and be the person God has created you to be and do not let people or your circumstances define who you are! GOD says we are His delight.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah (My delight), and thy land Beulah (married); for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. Isaiah 62:4,5 (ASV)

(3) GOD reassures us of His love. He is positively predisposed towards us. Whatever trauma it is that you have experienced, God can heal, He can make us whole. He’s our Waymaker, Promise-Keeper, our Light, our Salvation, our Redeemer!

There may be people or someone close to you who might have hurt you, and sometimes hindi maiiwasan na mangyari yun. Why? You were hurt because you love them, if those people do not matter to you, you won't be hurt at all. Pero to mend our brokenness, kaya draw near to God and He will draw near to you (James 4:8)

Lapit and kapit lang kay Lord, ! Hindi ka Niya bibitawan. :)

8The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm: Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies, and the sons of the foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored.

9 But those who have gathered it shall eat it and praise the Lord; and those who have brought it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.

10 Go through, go through the gates. Prepare the way of the people; build up, build up the highway. Remove the stones; lift up a standard over the peoples.

11 The Lord has proclaimed to the ends of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “See, your salvation comes; see, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”

12 They shall call them The Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken. Isaiah 62:8-12 (MEV)
