Hi Kapatid!
I’d like to share with you this prayer which I also posted in GraceToday... it’s high time more than ever that we P.U.S.H, !
Let’s pray until something happens (PUSH)...
If God wills, let this be a prayer chain… or better yet… an act that will please God… one that will reach His heart to grant our pleas not only for ourselves but for our beloved country and fellowmen.
Father God, we worship and adore You…. we exalt and honor You.
We know that You are good… and merciful… and loving and forgiving…
And we also know that You are a God of righteousness and justice and of peace and order.
We ask for your forgiveness, God… from our sins, transgressions, willful disobedience that we sometimes call “limitations” and more often as “alibis” saying “na tao lang kami”…
Forgive us for the sooo many times that we are not conscious of offending You and causing You heartaches… Yet, You continue to love us unconditionally…
Help us to get rid of the things and even people that we hold of more value than You... or than having Your presence in our lives… we know that these are idolatrous and that it grieves Your heart every time that we go astray…
Help us o dear God to FIX OUR EYES on YOU…
help us NOT TO RELENT in LOVING YOU… and to FEAR Your great NAME, LORD (YHWH)… for You are Holy.
Forgive us also for the times that we treat You as “JUST” our best friend… one that we can leave behind…
BUT even in those times LORD… YOU DID NOT LEAVE us…
YOU DID NOT FORSAKE us…
YOU DID NOT STOP from PURSUING us BECAUSE OF YOUR GREAT LOVE!
Forgive us also for the times that we pursue the things of this world, and call it “success”… rather than pursue Your righteousness first, knowing that all things will be added unto us according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus…
Cause us oh LORD to LOVE and FEAR (revere) You Oh God… and not to go or live on both extremes because it is NOT Your will and it will NOT be good for us…
Cause our lives to be aligned with Your will, with Your Purposes, so that Your answers will always be a “Yes” and “Amen” because the very things that we desire are the ones that You willed and prepared for us before we came to be.
Cause us to act with humility before our brothers and sisters… our neighbors because in as much as You created us to commune with You… you have also created them… us, as Your own body.
May You also forgive the sins of our land, Oh God… we dearly ask that you will lead our leaders – from our President, Vice President, our legislative body – senators and congressmen, our judiciary, each agency in our government, LORD… that You will make Your face shine upon them… that You will transform them… so that TRUE CHANGE will be evident in our country… upholding justice, honoring lives, taking care of the poor and the weak…
We ask for your mighty cleansing to be upon us, oh GOD that we may not be corrupted by the world around us.
LORD, You remain our SHIELD…. our STRENGTH… our HOPE… our strong REFUGE in times of trouble… our RIGHTEOUSNESS…
We know that You are very much in control, we know that You are Almighty, and we know that You are good, and kind, and loving, and forgiving…
Thank You, Father…
Thank You, Lord Jesus…
Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that continues to minister in our spirits that You are alive and that we can TRUST in YOU and find PEACE in Your promises and in Your Word!
We give You back all the glory, the honor, and the praises in the mighty and sweet name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ… Amen and Amen!
