Pouring my heart into a charity anthology and a PRIDE sale

Greetings from gray Abbotsford, British Columbia!
I don't have any great news to share in my personal life. The dog, the cat, and I are all doing well. Spring in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest of British Columbia has been slow in coming this year - lots of rain for the gardens. Meteorologists say warmer weather is on the way. Just not too hot, I hope.
So let me dive right into all the news!
New Charity Anthology
I'll be honest - when I was approached to partake in Love is All Volume 5, I was stunned. When I looked at the roster of participating authors, I was intimidated. I kept thinking they'd made a mistake in asking me and they'd realize it and change their minds. They didn't. So, undeterred, I embarked on writing a story. Pride Against the Machine is a 25k word novella set in a fictional small town I love writing about. I was thrilled to be included in the new anthology. The charities this year are The Matthew Shepard Foundation and Equality Texas. Here's the blurb:
The fifth edition of Love Is All features nine brand new stories from bestselling and award-winning authors, including BL Maxwell, Chantal Mer & Susan Scott Shelley, Connor Peterson, Gabbi Grey, Nic Starr, R.L.
