Military Romance Sale and What's In a Cover?
May 28, 2022 1:31 pm
Greetings from sunny Abbotsford, British Columbia!
The sun is coming up nice and early these mornings. I love taking my dog out right at the crest of dawn. The birds are chirping, the racoons are scurrying home, and traffic on the nearby street hasn't picked up. We get to meander and, often, see the rising sun. This was a view the other morning:
Now, I'm an early to bed person and it's weird going to sleep with so much light. But since we get glorious sunrises like that, it's a small inconvenience.
How are you doing these days? We're cold up here, and I have friends in California who've been baking. I'll take our cool temperatures any day.
Okay, news! There's a great sale going on with gay romance novels who feature protagonists in the military. Some of the authors include Layla Reyne (loved her book Silent Night), Nora Phoenix, Ana Ashley, Garrett Leigh, Elouise East, Kasia Bacon, Ana Ashley, RJ Scott, Eli Easton, Anne Barwell, BA Tortuga, Cara Dee (Auctioned is seriously amazing and seriously disturbing), as well as Kaje Harper (one of my all-time fave m/m historical romances Into Deep Waters) and many others.
My book My Past, Your Future is part of the sale. For 99 cents, you can read about a dead Black Civil War soldier who happens to be a ghost. He meets a history professor from Scotland and all kinds of sexy times ensue. Want to know how they get their HEA? You'll just have to check it out!
As you may know I've signed up to join a multi-author shared world series called The Single Dads of Gaynor Beach. I'm thrilled to be working with such a talented pool of writers. My book, Hugh, is in edits right now and is coming out in July. The third book in the series is available. Wynn and Lance are a great couple. I hope you enjoy it as well. (And, frankly, Wynn is sexy!)
Snag your copy of Wynn through Amazon or other retailers.
What's In A Cover?
Several weeks ago, I let you know I'd put two short stories up for grabs. Interestingly, Ace's Place has had significantly more downloads than Marcus's Cadence.
Of course that made me curious. Is it the covers? The fact Ace is slightly longer? The categories? (Ace is a sports romance while Marcus is a holiday story.)
If you have a moment, feel free to hit reply and let me know your thoughts. And, of course, if you haven't downloaded your copy, head on over to your favorite retailer and snag it.
Take Care. Stay Safe. Stay Sane.
Love, Gabbi
(and don't forget to head to BookFunnel - those great deals are only until the 30th.)
