Hi
As mothers, we sometimes get to a point when we say “Enough is enough - I need help.” Especially when it comes to boosting our energy and feeling good in our bodies. We need a renewal.
I had that breaking point, too.
I felt depleted. I could barely MOVE. My energy was beyond diminished.
Thankfully, I got the help I needed.
A type of help that transformed me.

My Story - The Beginning
I’ll tell you the beginning of my story now, and then more in consequent emails.
Here goes:
As a mother of two 👧 👦and a newborn 👶, I was not functioning.
My final weeks of pregnancy were ultra-stressful. I was hospitalized with a risky situation (placenta accreta), and ended up with an emergency c-section.
I was grateful we brought three children into this world. I felt so blessed to have them, thank Hashem.
Postpartum 🤱 was so trying though. It’s hard no matter what, and even harder because I had to recover from a c-section.
I needed to care for my post-surgery self, nurse and tend to my newborn, and manage two young children.
But I had no energy. I couldn’t manage.
I felt like I was in a different world, running on empty and unable to do much.
I wanted to get back to myself. I didn’t even know how I was managing what I was managing. Where had all of my energy gone? I used to be so up-and-about.
I didn’t know what to do.😥
My mother came to help out, thank Hashem.
And my husband? He was wonderful with the children and the house, all the while working full time. At the same time, he is human and could only do so much. In addition, my situation took a toll on him emotionally - it was shocking for him to see me so downtrodden.
Yet no matter what, my husband kept calm and gave me the space I needed. And it was he who started me on the path to recovery...

Today’s Tip
Did you know that our bodies need different kinds of fruits and vegetables - not just the same old same old? An easy way to make this happen is to “eat the rainbow,” meaning consume produce of different colors throughout the week. Each color signifies different nutrients your body craves, so it’s important to alternate colors.
Fun With Rainbow
Check out this idea for playing around with The Rainbow:
🥥🧄🍏🍐 🍋 🍌🌽 🍉 🍒 🍅 🥭 🍑 🥑 🥦 🥬 🍆🍇
Choose 1 vegetable that you never ate or don’t usually eat.
Kohlrabi? Kale? Romanesco? Or go to your local store or market, and scan for something unusual.
Find a recipe for the vegetable, or get creative on your own.
As we say in Hebrew, Bete’avon - Bon Appetit! 👩🏻🍳

Send me an email with a photo of your fruit or vegetable recipe (happy to see you in the photo as well if you choose!)
