At For Wild Places, we see so many women dedicating time, energy and passion into being outstanding advocates for social justice, the environment and equal rights.

This International Women’s Day, we want to amplify the voices within the outdoors and trail running community and share these experiences to create open and inspiring dialogue that petitions for a sustainable, positive and empowered future for all.

We invite you to join us next Monday, 8th of March for our first virtual Summit.

What you'll get out of this.

We are also in a unique position at FWP to have relationships with a range of incredible women across the environmental / trail running / advocacy space. Rather than confine these conversations internally, we want to utilize this Summit to amplify the voices of Australian women doing amazing things. We could all do with some inspiration, encouragement and a few laughs to help us navigate the often tiring space of giving a shit.

This Summit is a place to celebrate the work women are doing and inspire other women (and good men!) out there to take a stand for what they believe in. We hope this Summit can be the first of many for For Wild Places, as we are certainly stronger together, and there are some incredibly skilled, intelligent, funny and inspirational women out there, who’s voices need to be heard.

You can read more about the event on the Facebook Event Page.

Who will be joining us?

We are super excited to have a range of women from across the outdoors, trail running and environmental and social advocacy space. We have 3 conversations confirmed, which will each be hosted by a member of the FWP team. Here is a taster of what each session will discuss -

The Schedule

Later this week we will be releasing the schedule for each of these 45 minute conversations. To stay up to date with information, either buy a ticket or join this mailing list and you'll be the first to know what time each session is taking place. All of the conversations will also be available online to stream for 7 days post event.

Please feel free to forward this email on to anyone you think would be interested in attending - remember, these conversations are not just for women to learn from and appreciate!

As always, thank you for supporting For Wild Places and our growing community of engaged and active wild place advocates 🌲
