I saw this viral story of a kid the other day...
Torn because of the reality of his father's unfaithful actions resulting to her mother's bitterness which is reflecting to her words.
Have you seen her story sa show with Vice Ganda?
And I'm not a fan of Vice Ganda either.
But her story caught my attention the moment she went viral nung una pa lang.
A kid talking about her father's cheating behavior.
It reminds me of my son.
And all kids na nakaranas ng trauma ng infidelity ng parents.
And the future of our next generation.
What do I mean?
The Western Culture is already invading ours.
And this is the reason why if you notice nowadays, I feel like halos hindi na nahihya ang mga kabit.
Or... confident na kayang mag cheat.
Alam mo, what I'm seeing is about 5 years from now, maraming mga bata ang magiging kagaya ni Kulot.
Seeing the trend nowadays, I can see a lot of brokenness in our future generation.
That's why I focus on helping Depressed Cheated Women.
I'm not judging Kulot's Mom.
But I feel like she can do better in raising this beautiful girl.
It all starts with her speaking blessings and guiding her to not increase hate but increase more love and understanding.
Moreover, increase more awareness of women that self-respect is very important.
And that love is so deep.
But obedience is always better than sacrifice.
Even Saul, the very 1st King appointed by God disobeyed Him and inuna ang literal na sacrifice of burnt offerings. (Written in 1 Samuel).
This made the LORD angry.
So, the blessings na pwede sana sa future generation nya was given to David.
Therefore, it's not beautiful to sacrifice the lives of our future generation because of the wrong context of relationships and marriage.
When it comes to relationships, the core principle is always OBEY kung
But what can you do?
Betrayal already happened.
Di mo na maibabalik ang panahon.
Now what should you do?
As a betrayed spouse, seek God's presence and OBEY whatever specific instruction He has for you today.
You can never go wrong with following God's principles.
As for me, it even took me years before I obeyed the ultimate instruction I had of avoiding pre-marital sex.
And ayokong mangyari sayo yun.
Now we're different.
Pwedeng married ka at may instruction si LORD sayo to stay.
Or... instruction to temporarily leave your home for you and your children's sanity.
It's to LOVE YOUR HUSBAND in his worst.
To LOVE YOUR ENEMIES.
Love those who persecute you.
Listen.
You can still keep loving him whether you stay or leave.
Bottomline is I pray na maging STRAIGHT and path na tatahakin mo aligned sa principles ni LORD in rebuilding yourself and your home after betrayal.
Coz at the end of the day, obeying his straight ways, matters.
So I'm wondering...
Kamusta ka na ?
Straight na ba ang pag level up ng self-confidence mo after experiencing betrayal?
To your peace and joy,
FJ Lapera
