It has been quite a few months since I have sent out a newsletter. Largely due to my newsletter service turning ya'll into disconnected and zombified subscribers. Due to the complexity of their rules, I was unable to overcome it on my own.

Should Filmmakers Worry That AI Will Make You Obsolete?
What has been the most common question asked of me by filmmakers when I am out at group events?
Simple: "Do you use AI to do your work?" Yes, that’s the question. And maybe you wonder about that, too? I have a quick answer, which can be contained in one word, "No." I do not use AI to "make" financial models, or to write analysis of audiences, nor do I use it to write my reports on how the industry is working today. A lot of foment is happening around the inevitability of AI, and it is likely There are too many large economic moves for us to be able to wave it off. It is going to make a lot of money (and already is) for some people and appears likely to take a lot of money away from others. I wrote about it here. Take a gander.
