Hi {{contact.first_name}} - where does inspiration come from?

Many a mind finer than mine has pondered this question. Does inspiration come from within or without?
If inspiration comes from within, is it the product of a complex ever-changing recipe?
- Preheat your education to 'varied' and '18 years'.
- Mix a cup of classic literature, a pound of pulp, a dash of fantasy, and a sprinkle of non-fiction.
- Leave in a warm place overnight or for several years.
If inspiration comes from without, then where does it come from?
Is it an external force from an unknown source?
