Javier Milei Is Fighting Communism With Cartoons

May 30, 2025 12:35 pm

If I hadn’t made it very, very clear before, I’m a huge Javier Milei fan.

He’s reposted some of my content on X several times this year alone, including a recent episode of the Expat Money Show in May.

The man is on a mission to take a wrecking ball to the state, and since he’s come into office, he’s made my libertarian heart swell with joy.

Good people love him, the wrong people despise him, and for the first time in my lifetime, we actually get to see free market and libertarian policies take hold somewhere in the world.

Recently, this wild, chainsaw-wielding President just pulled a fast one on state TV.

He’s scrapped the left-wing propaganda on Paka Paka, a kids’ channel, and swapped it for the libertarian Tuttle Twins, a U.S. cartoon where a pair of young siblings time-travel with their grandma to learn why free markets are beneficial and taxes are not.

I was grinning ear to ear as I read about this.

Starting in July, Argentine children will watch The Tuttle Twins, soaking up lessons from animated versions of Milton Friedman and Ludwig von Mises.

I read the Tuttle Twins books with my children, and I can personally attest that they are fantastic.

Say what you want about Milei’s style, but the guy’s got a knack for making liberty fun.

This is why I love Latin America’s new energy.

Countries like Argentina are flipping the script, teaching kids to value hard work and actually understanding how markets really work.

It’s a breath of fresh air compared to the socialist garbage kids are learning elsewhere, including in the school systems of many Western countries.

Speak soon,

Mikkel
